I think this is because products are supposed to be listed according to the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients, and on this list purified water has (Aqua) beside it. Perhaps it reinforces that it is indeed purified water and not plain tap water. Quite often the INCI name and the common name are the same.I’m not sure about the fragrance one, but fragrances are trade secrets, so I’m guessing that instead of having to list the separate ingredients, they can just put (parfum)?

There are so many books on natural remedies out there there’s one called ‘Natural Remedies just ask Dr Weir’ but their really are so many I would suggest you go to your local library and look in the health and medicine section you should find everything your looking for. Those kind of books to buy outright are really expensive that’s why i reckon the library is a good start for sure. That’s a really cool interest you’ve got there good on you!
