If i get my car repainted (Green Body Kit on the side and Black from the hood to the top to the trunk) and a new, full body kit installed (already owned). About how much would that cost me?

Justin, whats your budget? Reason why I ask is because you do not have to spend thousands of dollars on a body kit from Japan for your 96-98 Civic (EK) Hatch such as Air Walker, Back Yard Special, C-Westin, J’s Racing, ETC., you can pay a fraction of that by buying a replica body kit manufactured by VIS Racing, Duraflex, companies like this already have (Cwestin, Buddy Club, Air Walker) style made for your vehicle. I personally have a VIS kit on my Nissan and am very happy w/ it, I made my purchase through http://www.iatuner.com/ and they gave me my VIS Vertex style kit for an awesome price. Hope this information helps.
I’ve got a few kits in stock for you. Shoot me an email and I’ll be able to send you some links. If you look up your car on extremedimensions.com, you can find a kit for your car and pick it out. Let me know which one you want, and I’ll get it to you cheaper than they will. I’m an authorized distributor with local customers and I’m building a website for my business right now. If you’re interested in doing the body kit and some other mods, we might be able to sponsor you. Write me back here or automodcentral@yahoo.com and we’ll talk some more.

save yourself sooooo much time and money and get the whole thing painted, I learned the hard way.
well the body kit depends on the make of it, so it ranges from like 250-1000 dollars, and to have it installed its about 300, i work at a body shop, so yea :d
NO BODY KITS. DONT BE A RICER.
Accolade has the evo x conversion kit you are looking for. The kit will make your 08+ lancer look more like the evo x. The website is http://body-kit.com/
Depends which country you are in. Supply this info and I may be able to help. Here is one supplier from the RSAhttp://www.replicarssa.co.za/porschecars.htmlfrom the UKhttp://www.premierkitcars.com/chesil/from USAhttp://www.boulderspeedster.com/
Not a chance! Almost the same, and Exactly the same, are not the same thing! You would have to extensively modify the kit to make it fit.
12 piece kits are usually wide body kits, these need to be molded and done by someone with experience, no amount of paint can cover body ripples. Have the shop quote u the kit install price, and shop around.
you wouldnt be able to do it yourself . if you want it to look nice it takes fiberglass and bondo so it wont break easily. so an auto body shop should be able to do it for you
Sounds like you will need to do some work on the car before they even install the kit, so with the paint matching and removal of the old kit it might cost $1500 o rmore
I would check ebay or give it a few more years of enjoying stock body style and there should be all kind of aftermarket kits.
when you put your car on insurance you need to lable it as modified. yes it cause you more but when someone rearends you and its not labled as modified the body kit won’t be replaced. as long as your car is labled on your insurance policy as modified the person who hits you have to replace everything that is damaged even if its a $500 to a $3000 body kit. it don’t matter they need to replace it. But your car must me on your policy as modified.no matter what it is the other persons fault
Justin I would find a shop that actually has experience installing aftermarket fiberglass body kits. Not every body shop knows how to install one or even prep one correctly. Some shops experienced with just OEM factory parts from the dealer that bolt right on, some body kits depending on what you have is not like that. Some kits out there require alot of work that most regular body shops don’t like to do or if they do will charge you alot for labor. Here is an install/prep guide for kits, hope this information helps you out man.IAtuner.com Body Kit Installation Instructions Please read thoroughly before beginning the installation process.IMPORTANT NOTICEBe certain that you got exactly what you ordered. Remember that if you prep, prime, paint, drill into, install, or modify the part in any way whatsoever, you will take over full liability for the part and may jeopardize your ability to install the part appropriately. Due to the nature of fiberglass manufacturing, fitting, trimming, filling, grinding, and prepping may be necessary before final installation and painting of the parts. We therefore recommend professional installation by an entity that has experience in installing automotive aftermarket fiberglass products. All pieces, whether they are in primer or gel coat finish, must be sanded and primed prior to being painted. Please read these instructions entirely before proceeding with the installation. Should you require technical assistance, please feel free to contact our main office at 888-317-3988 and we’ll do everything we can to guide you through the process. INSTALLATION OF BODY KITS THAT CONSIST OF FULL REPLACEMENT BUMPERS1. Remove all factory bumpers, license plates, brackets, fender lips, mud flaps, factory turn signals, side markers, side skirts, etc. Keep in mind that it is important not to discard the hardware when removing factory parts. 2. Pre-fit (dry fit) the aftermarket bumpers. It is recommended that two or more people help with this part of the installation. To avoid scratches when pre-fitting be sure to mask or tape off appropriate surface areas. Aftermarket parts may need to be sanded, trimmed or filled to ensure a perfect fit. Keep in mind that if the car on which the parts are being installed has been in any sort of accident or been through any other alteration whatsoever, it may increase the time frame and/or complexity of the pre-fitment procedure.3. Remove the aftermarket bumper from the car. At this point, the body kit parts can be painted if preferred, in which case please refer to the “PREPARATION FOR PAINT” section below. Otherwise, please follow the remaining installation steps and prepare the parts for paint following the installation.4. If grill mesh has been purchased for the body kit, follow the procedures below in the “INSTALLATION OF GRILL MESH” section and proceed with the remaining installation steps. Otherwise, simply skip this step.5. After parts are pre-fitted appropriately mark holes to be drilled in final fitment process. This can be done with a permanent marker or paint pen. Normal mounting points for the front bumper are under each front fender and under the hood between the headlamps. For the sideskirts, normal mounting points are in both the front and rear fender wells. Mounting points for the rear bumper can normally be found on each quarter panel or rocker panel, under the trunk lid, and between the taillights. 6. After all appropriate holes are marked remove the aftermarket bumper. Next, use a drill bit to drill marked holes (.25-inch bit will work in many cases). 7. After marked holes are drilled, place the aftermarket bumper back on the car. It is recommended that two people help in this process. Realign the drilled holes to the appropriate position and use factory mounting bolts to secure the bumper. Do not over-tighten any screws, but fasten the bumper up enough to ensure a snug fit. In some cases mounting might require the use of double-sided tape, epoxy, countersunk rivets, or countersunk screws. Extra screws, rivets, or self-tapping screws may be necessary to ensure the stability of the bumpers. 8. Factory side markers, turn signals, bumper lenses, mud flaps moldings, and door caps are, in many cases, not retained in the aftermarket bumpers. The customer certainly can make the appropriate accommodations to incorporate any of these items as he or she sees fit. INSTALLATION OF BODY KITS THAT CONSIST OF LIPS (CHIN SPOILERS OR ‘ADD-ONS’)1. Tape off the area of the bumper(s) where the lip is going to be installed.2. Pre-fit the lip to ensure fitment.3. Remove lip as well as the tape on the bumper.4. At this point, the body kit parts can be painted if preferred, in which case please refer to the “PREPARATION FOR PAINT” section below. Otherwise, please follow the remaining installation steps and prepare the parts for paint following th
depends on what you want and who is installing it. if youre going for the rice look, look no higher than 1k, in my opinion it isnt worth it, keeping it really clean with a lip, maybe side skirts, and cf hood always works very nicely, and it’s all functional and probably the same if not cheaper than a body kit
well it will depend on the color .. and if is a full body kit . to install . $350.. paint …$350 to $500.. if it’s fine mica .with a hue. it will cost closer to $500…
you can ask some colleague to fix it for you in some colleagues they have classes like collision repair they some times fixes just to learn or if you want the body kit they will charge you just for the paint so go and check in a school last year I do that with my mustang they fix the rear bumper cover and they just charge like $25 for the paint
